The University of the Third Age at Wroclaw Medical University invites you to the official celebration of the 10th anniversary of its establishment, which will take place on Friday, 15 May 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Scientific Medical Information Center of Wroclaw Medical University, 2-8 Marcinkowskiego Street, Wrocław, Auditorium 209-210.

The ceremony will feature a lecture by Professor Jan Miodek.

Programme:

• official opening,
• welcome of guests,
• speeches by the university authorities, the founders of the University of the Third Age, local government representatives, and guests,
• anniversary film “Faces of the University of the Third Age at WMU”,
• presentation of awards and distinctions,
• film prepared by students of the University of the Third Age,
• anniversary lecture by Professor Jan Miodek,
• Closing of the ceremony.

• performances by the “Medici Cantantes” Choir of Wroclaw Medical University,
• an exhibition of works created by students of the University of the Third Age,
