The 7th International and 21st National Student Conference “Gastroenterological Autumn” will take place on 6 December 2025. During the event, students from medical universities across Poland will present their research in the form of oral and poster presentations in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition.

The conference is organised by the Student Scientific Societies operating at the Department and Clinic of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine. The societies are chaired by Piotr Marczyński (Medical Faculty Students’ Society) and Vanshika Vikram Singh (English Division Students’ Society).

The conference language is English.

The event will begin at 9:00 at the CNIM building and will conclude at 15:00.

The inaugural lecture on international education will be delivered by Dr Edward Wąsiewicz, Honorary Consul of Austria in Wrocław and Opole.

An integral part of the event will be the Master Tea (starting at 14:00) — a meeting during which a cup of Indian tea will create space for networking and discussions between students and our guests: Prof. Agnieszka Hałoń, Vice-Rector for Academic Staff Development at Wroclaw Medical University, and Kartikey Johary, Honorary Consul of India in Wrocław.

Honorary patronage has been granted by the Rector of Wroclaw Medical University, Prof. Piotr Ponikowski, the Polish Society of Gastroenterology, and the Honorary Consul of Austria, Dr Edward Wąsiewicz.
