The Student Scientific Circle of Pharmaceutical Microbiology “MICRO&Pharm”, operating at Wroclaw Medical University, invites you to a webinar summarizing the project “What’s Hidden in the Cloud – Microbiological Contamination in E-Cigarettes.” The meeting will take place on Monday, December 15, at 4:30 PM, on the MS Teams platform.
Martyna Makieła and Wiktoria Mataśka, fifth-year students of Medical Analytics at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Wroclaw Medical University and members of the Student Scientific Circle of Pharmaceutical Microbiology “MICRO&Pharm,” carried out the project as part of the Student Activity Fund (FAST) – a program run by the Wrocław Academic Center.
During the webinar, they will present the results of their research, including the advantages and disadvantages of e-cigarettes as well as the negative health effects of smoking traditional cigarettes. They will also share tips on how to quit nicotine addiction.
“The meeting is open to everyone interested in the topic, but we are particularly keen on the participation of young people, who are increasingly turning to e-cigarettes,” say the authors of the project.
