30th Winter Conference on Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care

The programme includes topics such as extreme challenges in emergency medicine, the evolution of the emergency department’s role from the perspective of national health policy, public perception of the emergency department, clinical advances in emergency medicine practice, the growing importance of geriatric care in emergency medicine, selected clinical procedures in daily emergency department practice, unusual presentations of acute health emergencies, and career paths and development prospects in emergency medicine.

A key highlight of the conference will be an Extraordinary General Assembly of Members, during which an amendment to the Society’s Statute will be discussed and put to a vote.

The accompanying workshops will cover selected issues from day-to-day emergency department practice, including refined clinical management algorithms and the use of new diagnostic techniques.
