“Microorganisms in Medicine, Pharmacy and Cosmetology – Benefits and Risks”
The conference will explore the world of microorganisms from multiple perspectives. It will address both historical aspects of the fight against microbes and contemporary challenges in pharmacotherapy, including the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance. Speakers will consider whether microorganisms are our allies or adversaries – or whether their role depends on the context. Issues related to microbiological safety in medicine, pharmacy, and cosmetology will also be discussed.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for in-depth discussion, exchange of ideas, and networking with experts and enthusiasts in cosmetic chemistry, biology, biotechnology, microbiology, and toxicology.
Participation in the event is free.
Students will have the opportunity to present their research findings in oral presentations or posters. Attractive prizes are planned for the authors of the best contributions.
The conference will take place in room W3 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, 211 Borowska Street, Wrocław.
