The 57th Congress of Polish Ophthalmologists will take place from 11 to 13 June 2026 in Wrocław. The event is organized by the Department and Clinic of Ophthalmology at Wroclaw Medical University and the Polish Ophthalmological Society.
The Congress is one of the most important national scientific events in ophthalmology. It provides a platform for exchanging knowledge, experience, and the latest clinical and research achievements. It is also an opportunity to broaden expertise, strengthen integration within the ophthalmology community, and establish international cooperation.
This year’s edition will also welcome international guests, including participants from the USA, Lithuania, Ukraine, Egypt, and Bulgaria.
The leading topics of the 57th Congress of Polish Ophthalmologists will include glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology and clinical electrophysiology, cornea, blindness prevention, and retina.
The scientific program will be complemented by numerous courses and special sessions, including the Basic and Clinical Research in Ophthalmology Session (PIKO), the Young Ophthalmologists Session, the Club 40 Session, the Central and Eastern Europe Session, AAO and ESCRS sessions, as well as Varia sessions.
The event is held under the honorary patronage of Professor Piotr Ponikowski, Rector of Wroclaw Medical University.
