In the event of an evacuation
- Secure your workstation: switch off electrical and heating appliances, close windows and doors (do not lock them), and leave the room immediately, taking your personal belongings with you
- Proceed to the emergency exit using the clearly marked evacuation routes (green signs and arrows).
- Do not use the elevator during evacuation.
- If evacuation routes are heavily smoke-filled, move in a crouched position and keep your head as close to the floor as possible, where the air is cooler and contains less smoke.
- If necessary, protect your airways with a cloth dampened with water. This will make breathing easier and help prevent burns to your respiratory tract.
- Report your presence at the designated assembly point.
- If heavy smoke or fire prevents evacuation, move to a location as far from the fire source as possible. Alert building security staff and the fire brigade, providing your exact location, and wait for assistance.
