On 16 June 2026 at 12:00, the ceremonial closing of the 2025/2026 academic year of the UMW University of the Third Age will take place at the Center for Scientific Medical Information of Wroclaw Medical University.

The program includes a lecture entitled “Japan – a country of more than cherry blossoms”, delivered by Professor Zbigniew Dobrzański, Director of the Open University of the Third Age at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.

The meeting will be a story about Japan seen through the eyes of a traveler – a country of fascinating culture, tradition, and extraordinary contrasts. We hope it will also become an inspiration for participants’ own travels and for discovering the world.
