From May 4 to May 8, 2026, the Department of Physical Chemistry and Biophysics will host, for the second time, an event within the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled:
“Solutions as pharmaceutical products: the physicochemical properties of solutions and methods of solubilising medicinal substances”
This one-week meeting is part of short-term study mobility and will bring together students from the following partner universities participating in the Erasmus+ programme:
- Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU)
- Bragança Polytechnic University (IBP)
- National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA of Bucharest
- University of Cagliari
- Charles University
- Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland
- Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”
The on-site component, aimed at presenting selected physicochemical methods for evaluating pharmaceutical solutions and their practical application in a research laboratory, will be preceded by online meetings, which are a mandatory element of Blended Intensive Programmes. Lectures and laboratory classes will be delivered by academic staff from the Department of Physical Chemistry and Biophysics in cooperation with lecturers from partner universities.
