The Polish Pharmaceutical Students’ Association, Wrocław Branch, invites everyone to join a charity collection of gifts for the residents of the Wrocław Senior+ Day Care Centre. The initiative is part of the nationwide campaign “Magical Holidays with PTSF.”
Donations that pharmacy students from Wroclaw Medical University will pass on to Wrocław’s seniors can be left from 1 to 10 December in specially marked boxes. They will be placed near the receptions of Buildings I and II of the Faculty of Pharmacy at 211 Borowska Street, as well as at the Welcome Centre (2–6 Marcinkowskiego Street, entrance by the porter’s lodge, 9:00–15:00).
“Christmas is coming, and we want to do something good together. It’s a special opportunity to bring joy to seniors and support them in their everyday needs,” say students from PTSF Wrocław. According to the information they gathered, the following items will be most useful for the centre’s residents:
- pens, glue sticks and scissors
- paper desk pads
- coffee filters (size 4)
- gloves, hats and scarves
- socks
- tights (size 4)
- shower gels and soaps
