The ceremony of presenting the Medical Oscars to administrative staff of Wroclaw Medical University — combined with a Christmas Eve reception — will take place on Wednesday, 17 December, at the University’s Medical Scientific Information Centre.

This will be the tenth, anniversary edition of the competition in which we honour administrative employees. Not lecturers, not researchers, not scientists whose achievements we describe every day. We celebrate those who usually remain in the background but who, day after day, contribute to the university’s success and meaningfully support its operations. We appreciate the quality of their work and also — perhaps above all — the quality of cooperation with them and the kind of people they are.

The winners of the plebiscite receive diplomas and Oscar-style statuettes (modelled on the Hollywood originals) in categories loosely inspired by movie and TV series titles and their characters.
