The Young Managers Student Scientific Society invites you to the 15th Symposium of the Wrocław Public Health Days. This year’s event, held under the theme “Health Starts with Knowledge – Health Education as the Foundation of Wellbeing,” will take place on Thursday, 19 March, at Wrocław Medical University.
Participants will discuss how knowledge (or lack thereof) influences everyday choices, safety, prevention, and quality of life— particularly among young people. In a world overflowing with information, including misinformation, health education is becoming a key tool for building an informed society.
“We will examine health education from several perspectives: the consequences of insufficient knowledge, the role of schools and the education system in shaping health-promoting attitudes, and the importance of young people’s voices in shaping the future of public health,” the organisers announce.
The symposium is intended for secondary school students, university students, teachers, academic staff, healthcare professionals, representatives of public institutions, NGOs, and anyone interested in strengthening health literacy and fostering a culture of prevention.
The conference will feature the following sessions:
- Wiser After the Event – what the lack of knowledge can lead to
- The Future in Schools’ Hands: Health Education as the Foundation of Awareness and Prevention
- The Young Voice of Health
Event details will be published on an ongoing basis on the Society’s website and the Facebook page of the Young Managers Student Scientific Society, which operates within the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, WMU.
