From 16 July to 28 August, the foyer of the Center for Scientific Medical Information at Wrocław Medical University will host Izabela Zarzycka’s degree exhibition, From Autopsy – An Anatomical Study in Figurative Sculpture.

The project explores the relationship between the study of human anatomy and the process of creating figurative sculpture. It was developed through cooperation between the FORMA Student Scientific Society at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław and the Clinical and Dissecting Anatomy Student Scientific Society at Wrocław Medical University. The exhibition features Zarzycka’s degree project alongside selected works created during her studies.

The opening will take place on 16 July at 5.00 pm, with a cello performance by Julia Pałka.

The degree project was supervised by Associate Professor Maciej Albrzykowski of the Academy of Art and Design.

The exhibition is organized by the Department of Normal Anatomy at Wrocław Medical University and the Faculty of Sculpture and Art Mediation at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
