Modern Concepts in Teaching and Learning Conference

The International Relations Office of the Wroclaw Medical University cordially invites students, doctoral candidates, academic staff, and all those interested in modern teaching methods to participate in the “Modern Concepts in Teaching and Learning Conference”, which will take place on June 11–12, 2026, at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Wrocław Medical University, at 211 Borowska Street in Wrocław, in lecture hall W1.

The event will focus on modern concepts of teaching and learning, with particular emphasis on reflective learning techniques, the perspectives of students and practitioners, the application of SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) in medicine and health sciences, as well as the use of artificial intelligence tools in education. The first day’s program will include, among others, an expert panel, presentations by representatives of partner universities, and a student panel.

On the second day of the conference, a practical training session in English titled “Project Management in Healthcare: A Practical Training for Medical Students” will be held. During this session, 30 participants will have the opportunity to participate in a certified training course in project management.

Participation in the conference is free of charge and funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Registration is possible via an online form or by email by sending the application form to: emilia.basinska@umw.edu.pl
