The Department of Psychiatry at Wroclaw Medical University invites participants to the third edition of the “Psychiatry – Case Study” conference. The event, which will take place on 22–23 May, is held under the patronage of Prof. Piotr Ponikowski, Rector of Wroclaw Medical University.
The meeting is addressed to psychiatrists and psychologists. Its aim is to create a space for exchanging experiences, discussing real diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, and engaging in conversation with recognized experts.
“We will focus on what poses the greatest difficulties: non-obvious diagnoses, drug resistance, comorbidities, and cases that cannot be fitted into a single simple treatment algorithm,” says Prof. Błażej Misiak, Head of the Department and Clinic of Psychiatry at Wroclaw Medical University.
The program will include lectures and workshops tailored to the needs most frequently raised by the clinical community. The special lecture, “Mother in Chaos: Maternal Perinatal ADHD”, will be delivered by Prof. Sarah Kittel-Schneider, a world-renowned researcher and Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioural Science at University College Cork, Ireland.
