In the event of an evacuation

  1. Secure your workstation: switch off electrical and heating appliances, close windows and doors (do not lock them), and leave the room immediately, taking your personal belongings with you
  2. Proceed to the emergency exit using the clearly marked evacuation routes (green signs and arrows).
  3. Do not use the elevator during evacuation.
  4. If evacuation routes are heavily smoke-filled, move in a crouched position and keep your head as close to the floor as possible, where the air is cooler and contains less smoke.
  5. If necessary, protect your airways with a cloth dampened with water. This will make breathing easier and help prevent burns to your respiratory tract.
  6. Report your presence at the designated assembly point.
  7. If heavy smoke or fire prevents evacuation, move to a location as far from the fire source as possible. Alert building security staff and the fire brigade, providing your exact location, and wait for assistance.
