The Biobank at Wroclaw Medical University is a modern research facility dedicated to collecting, processing, storing, and providing high-quality biological material for scientific and medical purposes. Our mission is to support advanced biomedical research, foster innovation, and contribute to the development of personalized medicine.

We operate in accordance with the highest ethical and legal standards, ensuring full protection of donor rights and data security. The Biobank’s activities are aligned with international best practices, guaranteeing the integrity and traceability of all collected samples.

 

Our resources include:

• A secure repository for various types of human biological samples (e.g., blood, DNA, tissues).

• State-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure for sample preparation and quality control.

• A robust data management system ensuring sample traceability and confidentiality.

 

Key objectives:

• Support research projects at Wroclaw Medical University and in collaboration with external partners.

• Promote translational research bridging laboratory discoveries with clinical practice.

• Enable studies in genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other cutting-edge biomedical fields.

Through our Biobank, we aim to accelerate scientific progress, improve diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, and ultimately enhance patient care.
