Harvard Medical School and Semmelweis University Launch the 4th Edition of the Clinical Science Scholars Program
Harvard Medical School and Semmelweis University are launching the fourth edition of the prestigious educational initiative, the Clinical Science Scholars Program: Semmelweis University (CSS). This innovative certificate program is designed for early-career clinical researchers who want to develop their skills in medical research and clinical trial design.
Modern Training in Clinical Research
The CSS program offers advanced training in healthcare research methodology and is intended for:
- Early-career physicians
- Doctoral students
- Postdoctoral fellows
- Residents
Participants should have prior research experience and a strong interest in advancing their clinical research skills.
In recent years, the importance of clinical research has grown significantly, partly due to global experiences such as the pandemic. In response, Semmelweis University has been actively strengthening this field in the region, collaborating with leading international institutions to deliver high-quality educational programs.
Scholarships for 70 Participants
This year, Semmelweis University will award scholarships of $5,500 USD to 70 carefully selected participants, enabling them to join this challenging and prestigious program.
Thanks to a long-standing collaboration between the partner institutions, universities or medical units also have the opportunity to nominate one representative to participate in the program.
