Spring Exchange Event Report

From April 22 to 24, 2026, the Welcome Centre of the Medical University hosted a spring clothes and jewelry exchange event, which attracted a wide range of participants, including both students and university staff.

The event had an integrative and ecological character, promoting the idea of reusing items and reducing excessive consumption. Participants were able to exchange clothes, accessories, and jewelry, giving them a second life while refreshing their wardrobes at no cost.

The initiative was particularly popular among members of the University of the Third Age. Seniors eagerly took part in the event, actively browsing the available items, talking with others, and sharing their experiences. Their presence created a warm and friendly atmosphere that was noticeable throughout the entire event.

Overall, the initiative can be considered a great success. The event not only fulfilled its practical purpose but also created a space for meetings and conversations. Such initiatives show that a university can be not only a place of learning but also an active and conscious community that works together toward a more sustainable lifestyle.
