Integration, Creativity and Intergenerational Solidarity

On May 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Welcome Centre of Wroclaw Medical University hosted a special integration event bringing together international and Polish students. Participants included students from the English Division, exchange students, and Polish students.

The evening provided an excellent opportunity to build new friendships, exchange experiences, and strengthen connections within the university community. In addition to a sweet refreshment buffet, students took part in creative workshops, during which they painted and decorated flower pots.

The completed pots will be donated to a partner nursing home, reflecting the spirit of intergenerational solidarity and the idea of “young people for seniors.” Through this initiative, students were able to combine creativity with social engagement and contribute to a meaningful cause.

The event was marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere, and participants shared many ideas for future integration activities. It was the last gathering of this kind this semester, as the examination period is just around the corner.

We would like to wish all our students the best of luck in their exams and every success in achieving excellent results!
