On Monday, June 8, the on-site component of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) under the Erasmus+ programme will commence. The event is organised by the Department of Forensic Medicine at Wroclaw Medical University.
The programme, entitled “Dead Men Tell Tales: Truth Written in the Body – From Body to Evidence in Forensic Science”, will bring together 16 students from partner universities: Vilnius University, University of Maribor, UniCamillus, University of Ostrava, and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
The programme, which forms part of a short-term educational mobility initiative, was preceded by a mandatory virtual component. During the week-long on-site session, students will take part in practical training and follow the entire forensic investigation process—from crime scene examination and evidence collection, through autopsy procedures and the analysis of biological and toxicological samples, to the identification of the deceased.
