Are you a student or PhD candidate who has taken part in an Erasmus exchange? The “Your Experiences Story – YES! Erasmus+” competition is now open! Share your experience and win a study visit to the European Parliament!
The Centre for Cooperation and Dialogue at the University of Warsaw invites students and PhD candidates to take part in the nationwide photo and video competition “Your Experiences Story – YES! Erasmus+”, funded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The competition is open to students and PhD candidates at Polish universities who took part in academic mobility programmes during the 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 academic year. The prize is a four-day study visit to the European Parliament’s seats in Brussels and Strasbourg.
THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED. Until 18 October, the organisers are accepting competition entries that present at least one of the following three themes in an engaging and creative way:
- Learning – modern laboratories, libraries and classes
- Cultural life – discovering traditions, everyday life and art
- Community and society – international friendships and breaking stereotypes

To take part, simply prepare an original video or photo and submit your entry via the competition website.
What can you submit?
VIDEO – an Instagram Reel using the hashtags #yeserasmus #yourexperiencestory #erasmus. Add the organiser’s profile @yes_erasmus_ as a collaborator and include a link to your Reel in the application form. Videos should be in Full HD resolution, in either portrait or landscape format, and last between 30 and 90 seconds. Accepted formats are MP4 and MOV.
PHOTO – a single high-quality photograph capturing the spirit of your exchange experience. The photo should be in JPG or PNG format and in high resolution suitable for printing (a minimum of 300 DPI and at least 2400 pixels on the longer side is recommended). The application form will convert the file to WebP. Selected participants will be asked to send the print-quality file by email.
Each participant may submit a maximum of one entry in each category. Entries must not be generated using AI or be digitally manipulated. Any materials used, in particular music, sound effects, video footage or graphics, must come from publicly available sources, or the participant must have the appropriate rights or licences to use them. Participants are also responsible for obtaining consent for the use of the image of any people appearing in their entry.
The prize for the authors of the best entries is a study visit to the European Parliament’s seats in Brussels and Strasbourg, combined with sightseeing in both cities, planned for November! The organisers will cover transport, accommodation, meals and insurance. In addition, the 12 best photographs will be featured in a limited-edition promotional calendar for 2027!
